New Jersey (NJ) Handyman Contractors Insurance 

The Franchino Agency specializes in insurance for New Jersey Contractors and currently insure over 1300 Contractors of all types including Handymen, Home Improvement Contractors, Carpenters, etc.  We would like to provide coverage for you either as a separate liability policy, or as a package that includes tool coverage, commmercial automobile (trucks), commercial umbrella, etc.

We want to write the NJ Handman!

We are looking to write small to medium sized contractors who do most of the work themselves with very little work sub-contracted out. No more than 25% of the work can be sub-contracted to others. No "paper" contractors who subcontract-out most of the work to others.

Residential, or commercial work. New home building, additions, renovations, handyman work. Kitchen, baths, basements, etc. Carpentry, door & window installation, painting, drywall, repairs, odd jobs, etc.

No separate roofing jobs, no alarm or fire sprinkler work. Coverage for New York City is limited. We can insure the occasional job in NYC. Primary business must be NEW JERSEY CONTRACTING.

General liability limits are available in the amounts of: $500,000. or $1,000,000. One million coverage is almost always chosen because the difference in premium is very little.

Here is a typical GENERAL LIABILITY package for a ONE-PERSON OPERATION. If you have employees, please call for a custom quotation needs to be generated for you. *occurrence mean limit per claim
*aggregate means limit per year
